Project: Solar Power My School
We are endeavouring on our greatest project to date by installing solar power in schools. Due to high solar power costs, we will roll out this project in phases. Phase one of the project will entail installing solar power panels in the office/admin block as this is where staff meet and work from. It is the nerve centre of the school. We will be setting up a school admin block with 5kWp solar power per school. Our target is to equip schools with solar power panels alleviating some of the electricity costs. By implementing a solar power approach to educational facilities, it allows schools to redirect those funds to other causes beneficial to the learners.
In order to support learners and educators with this cost saving as well as energy saving model, we would require funds/donations to start the project. Of course, none this would be possible without the generous support from our community, standing together in developing a brighter future for South Africa.
Project: Build a Classroom
We are working with our key partners in building classrooms for schools that are in need of more space to teach learners.
There will be NO COST to the school.
